    In the "Public Image" section, the second paragraph begins: [[Declan Walsh (journalist)|Declan Walsh]] writing for the ''[[The Guardian]]'' in 2005, described Khan

    This generates "the The Guardian" on the page.

     Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. (3OpenEyes' communication receptacle) | (PS: Have a good day) (acer was here) 12:34, 2 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

    Summary

    [edit]

    @WikiEnthusiast1001 If you keep expanding the premiership section, it will no longer function as a summary since every addition could prompt further balancing with counter-narratives, creating an endless cycle. The objective is to maintain detailed information in the main article while keeping this section concise. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 04:17, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

    Wording

    [edit]

    @WikiEnthusiast1001 The sources do not independently describe the incident as an assassination attempt but attribute that claim to Khan's supporters and Fawad Chaudhry. Sky News mentions that Imran Khan was shot in the leg during what his supporters described as an assassination attempt. Additionally, it quotes Fawad Chaudhry, a spokesperson for Khan's political party, stating that it was a clear assassination attempt. The characterization as an assassination attempt, therefore, remains an allegation presented by Khan's supporters and party members rather than a confirmed description from independent sources. For accuracy, it is essential to directly attribute such claims to the individuals or groups making them. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 19:52, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

    GA Nomination

    [edit]

    @Titan2456 @SheriffIsInTown @Burrobert Are you satisfied with the article as it stands? Is it ready to be nominated for Good Article status? WikiEnthusiast1001 (talk) 23:38, 12 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

    I am not sure if the rest of the article fully aligns with the sources. I still need to make a few more adjustments to the Premiership section though, and then we can submit it for GAN. Why not aim for FAN instead? Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 02:11, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
    We also need to ensure that the lead section neutrally represents the entire article rather than highlighting only the positive aspects. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 02:28, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
    @WikiEnthusiast1001 Also, since I am the article's top contributor, I would like to be the nominator. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 10:21, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
    Go for it! :) WikiEnthusiast1001 (talk) 19:00, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
    After going through the criteria, I believe more work is required. We need to assess the article against all six criteria individually to ensure it meets each one. Essentially, we should approach it from the perspective of a GAN reviewer and consider whether it would pass if we were the ones evaluating it. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 00:28, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
    @WikiEnthusiast1001 Thank you for asking. The #Philanthropy section might need to include more about Namal College than one sentence. Also, the article does not mention Khan’s popularity, despite RS calling him the “most popular politician in Pakistan” many times.[1][2][3][4][5] The #In opposition section still has a citation needed tag (which bypasses GAN) and has an undue bottom paragraph on some of his statements about Trump and the Middle East, which should be moved or condensed as some statements do not warrant that much space. Otherwise, I’ll find some better free images for this article. I’ll rely on whoever the GA reviewer is to check its NPOV status which still includes negative POV against Khan in many areas including the POV #Controversies section.
